I've been told that hanging a ten pin means your timing is off. Move your approach up or back by 1/2 an inch.
recently, ive been learning to throw the hook. when i throw it, i can consistently hit the pocket and it looks to me as if it hits flush, but about 30% of the time, the 10 pin will still be standing.
anything that can be done to prevent this?
Thanks in advance.

I would move 1 board to the right and throw the same shot ....the 10 pin will be NO more
Now the REAL question is ....DO you make the 10 pin![]()
i do indeed pick it up, thank you for the advice!
those are all great idea and all.. but the best way is to pay the machanic to stand behind your set with a black stick and just tap it down for you ... lol never have to worry about the 10 pins again... unless of course hes off or you go to a different center... than please refer to the above advice..ha..
