    Default Drilling...

What I was wondering is if the drilling layout really that important for your ball? And if you don't ask for an specific layout, what does the guy that drills the ball go with? Does the ball have its own default layout or do they just do "their" default layout?

there are different layouts that can will affect how your ball performs. If your pro shop guy is good, he'll take the time to watch you throw a few balls and determine the best layout for what you need the ball to do

My guy also asks what patterns I will mostly be bowling on. Me, the house shot, so since he know the ball, my style, and the oil pattern I bowl on most of the time, he lays it out accordingly
