Um i dont think she meant she waited 5 hours for them... maybe she was cleaning up and inspecting the house... organizing and planning. etc... unless she did wait 5 hours and im wrong lol

no no, I waited 5 hours.
The gas company gave me a window from 8am - noon for the guys to come turn the gas on.
The water dept. came out around 10:30...so they weren't bad.
But around 11:30 I got a call that the gas company was running behind and that they'd be there at 1pm at the latest. They showed up around 12:30 and by the time they were done it was 1.

All the while...I had to entertain my 2 yr old daughter in an empty house....we played hide and go seek in the closets....and I gave her piggy back rides....and we played in the front yard.

Plus I think I damaged my kidneys.......I had a large cup of coffee with breakfast and then had to hold it all morning!

was not fun, but I slept great last night.

I am thinking of you I have just been looking after our 3 year old granddaughter for 8 hours and I am shattered I am now on here with a cup of tea recovering and I hope your kidneys have recovered
