    Default Ball Mfg.

I'm a new bowler and about to purchase my first ball. Are the manufactures fairly equal or does one stand out above the rest?

    Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty new too. To the world of bowling equipment, but heard this year belongs to Storm. I would say you can't go wrong with a Storm or Brunswick.

Storm was dominant last season on tour, there shouldn't be that kind of dominance this season. That said, some of the companies are as good as any other, there's no such thing as the best company, period. It just depends on how you match up to the ball. Brunswick, Storm, Roto Grip, any of the Ebonite-owned brands, and 900 Global/AMF all make good stuff. Motiv is on its way as well.

Don't hesitate to try Brunswick if that's what you wanted to do. They make some good stuff right now and and good price points in my opinion. They're my favorite personally right now.
