Default the True Bowler Adjustments book

I got the True Bowler Adjustments book earlier this week. I've only started to read it, I intend to go cover to cover, but it's driving me bonkers. It's filled with typos, poor puntuation and outright errors. "Deliverying" the ball? Feeling the "presser" on your fingers? A lot of the sentence structures are awkwards at best. I guess that kind of English is acceptable for a Master Sergeant in the Air Force, but I would hope the commissioned officers could do better. The guy needs spell check and an editor badly. I'll revisit this after I'm done with the book, but so far I'm far from impressed.

Does it at one point talk about ball adjustments by grabbing your zipper and pulling out and to the left?

Back in 71 my grandfather bought a Toyota Cown. What was supposed to be horizon blue for the color got translated as horizontal blue. So translation can be terrible in some cases
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

I get the biggest kick out of www.engrish.com with their mistranslations, but this guy is a silver level coach out of Las Vegas who gave the" silver nugget" tip on the Let's Go Bowling show a few weeks ago (10-27), so I don't think translation is a problem. I kind of feel the need to grab a red pen, grade it and send it back. It looks like it's self published so there's not much point in looking for a publisher to blame. I don't have a problem with what he's trying to say, but the execution leaves a whole lot to be desired.

My other hobby or sport (depending on how you look at it) is radio controlled aircraft. "Chingrish" is a horrible way to try and read the instructions for assembling something you need straight so that it can fly right. LOL

Besides the grammar and punctuation errors, how was the content in the book? Did it help your game in any way?

I've since gotten two corrected versions, each one a little better. It helped, but sometimes I found the descriptions of the solutions a little vague and generalized. Plus, I'm not sure I'm observing what I'm supposed to look for correctly. It has to be me, because a lot of people swear by the book, so to speak.

Funny - that's how I feel about my bowling from time to time.
