Thumb or no thumb doesn't matter. Layout for either is still based off your PAP (posative axis point). Discusss with your driller what you want the ball to do and go frome there.
Hello everyone,
I have been a no thumb bowler for a while now and have had some success. I tried using my thumb but now after using no thumb fo so long, it is extremely hard to switch over. I was wondering if a no thumjb bowler should have the ball drilled different then someone who uses one. I never know which is the best way to have my ball drilled up and where the pin should go. Any help would be great. I know it depends on the ball and stuff, but I want the maximum hook out of my ball. Thanks and hope someone has some input

Your PAP couldbe different with the thumb versus no thumb, so that's something to consider. Generally with no thumb you would need weaker pin placements to get a similar reaction to stronger pin placements with your thumb in.
