Styles??

Hey i am pretty new to the sport of bowling, can somebody educate me a little bit on the styles?? i have seen tweeners crankers and all kinds of other stuff...... thanks for the help

There's also strokers. In general, the type of player someone is, is determined by their release in my opinion, maybe a little by their style. A lot of people think it has to do with the rev rate or how many boards someone covers and while that's basically a result, I have to say that's not to main thing I think of. To give an idea of each type look up these players

Stroker - Norm Duke
Tweener - Pete Weber/Bill O'Neill
Cranker - Tommy Jones/Robert Smith
