    Default 13 lbs??

I just ordered a 13 lb storm tropical, and about 2 hours later i read that most companies don't put weightblocks in there balls until 14 lbs... does anybody know if this is true for the tropicals??? or do i need to cancel the order and up it a pound??

I don't know personally, and they don't provide core numbers for weights lower than 14 on their site. So I would assume they don't have a core in lower weights, but it's not much of a core to begin with so it's hard for me to believe. Maybe there is some type of core, but probably a modified one. I would contact Storm.

As far as cores go Storm/Roto uses the same core shape down to 12lbs. They lighten the densities and if nescessary reduce the core size slightly to lower the gross weight of the core. Brunswick uses generic cores in 12-13 lb balls but the are still dynamic cores

ok thanks a lot, how much heavier of a ball do you think i should use if i am going from 2 to 3 fingers.... i use the 13 for two so i think 14 or 15 should be ok for 3 right???/ or stick with what i know?? (I figure if i am going to have to re learn how to bowl i may as well use a heavier ball as Force = MASS X Acceleration....)

You want to throw the heaviest ball you can comfortably throw. It will help keep you from muscling the ball. Off the top of my head i would say look at 15lbs
