    Smile First in 3 months

Went bowling yesterday and, for the first time, was able to finally walk the approach instead of throwing from the foul line. The scores weren't the greatest but, the last 2 were o k, I bowled 148, 160, 168 180,and 196. I knew it was time to quit after that last game by the way my foot felt. I have to say it was great fun but, I'm paying for it today. I used mussels I never knew were in a foot. But all in all it was worth it, I was able to stretch the foot out and loosen it up to where it felt normal except, for the pain. Any way just wanted to let you all know I'm on my way back. Good luck and good bowling.

As afr as damage goes as was stated excessive track wear would be the damage. How much would be a resultwhat the underlying lane surface. Old wood will wear worse than some of the harder synthetis
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

Hey guys, it worked out great 'cause it snowed today and every thing is closed as usual here in Memphis. The doctors office called to reschedule for next Monday so it gives me an extra week, which is great 'cause it's still a bit sore. But it sure was worth it, at least I know I still got it. And Bill I know what you mean about not being able to take it any longer, it looks like temptation got the best of us. But thats OK 'cause I'm sure you needed the exercise as much as I did. The only draw back is that all those mussels that we never knew we had let us know the next day. Every time I think about it I gotta laugh. Good luck and good bowling

Nice bowling WAC for just getting back into it. I took 6 weeks off late last year because of wrist pain. I couldn't wait to get back at it. Wrist still hurts, but I am dealing with it for now.

I see the dr again today. As you can well imagine i'm going to talk to him about starting back. Only looking for 3 games a week right now but even 1 a week will do if he lets me LOL Having gone through this a year ago i can tell you Bill that it won't take too long for the muscles to not hurt the next day. It will take a little while to get your legs from not being "tired" though

Back to work and hard to keep up, but I'm starting to catch up. Bill I read your other post about the Dr. giving you the go ahead on bowling. Congratulations once again, and as my wife always tells me take it easy and take lots of breaks. Now why she bothers I have no idea, 'cause she knows I don't do either one. Any way my Dr. apt. was rescheduled for this Monday, and this should be the end of it. Now about he only thing that bothers me is the incision area where I think the nerves are growing back. Kind of makes me hope my toe stays numb. The biggest problem I had was learning to walk again, it seems that the ankle forgot what it was for. But that's OK it should be good to go in 9 months 'cause that's when I plan to have the other one done. Good luck and good bowling
