I never had that problem but I would think you can do the same thing as if it where your thumb and dip the ring finger in slide powder.... Good Luck bryan
I have a finger tip drilled ball and one of my biggest issues is the insert on my ring finger, when I start out bowling finger tip is perfect fit, but most times when i Get to about the end of 2nd game my ring finger insert is too tight and ball sticks. any suggestions on how to cope with this ? I thought about buying 2 different size inserts and not gluing them in and changing out inserts when finger gets too tight. but Guy at pro shop didnt think that was a good idea.

Or get a bigger insert and only glue the front/sides, then stick little folded pieces of paper behind the insert. When you swell, remove the paper. There's also vacu grips. I forget exactly how it works but something along the lines of drilling the top part of the hole bigger, only gluing the bottom of the insert, and using your regular sized insert. When you swell it will still be a snug fit automatically.
As Justin said those are pretty much the only options you have as far as allowing for the swelling. More important might be to find out why it swells. If it is only one finger that swells i would have your pro shop recheck your fit. It could be a span or pitch issue creating this situation
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

You can also use tape on the back-side of the finger holes - even grips - to start and remove the tape as your finger swells. As Justin said those are pretty much the only options you have as far as allowing for the swelling
A better fix would be to stop treating the symptoms and eliminate the cause. Figure out why your finger is swelling and correct the problem and the equipment will stop being an issue.
Good luck.
