Thread: Grip for spare ball

    Question Grip for spare ball

I'm a tweener and I've always used a finger tip grip. I'm a straight spare shooter, except for the buckets but they're near the middle anyway.

So basically I have two strokes, one for strikes and one for spares, and this has never been a problem. So I'm wondering, why not just use a conventional grip for the spare ball and the finger tip grip for the strike ball? (I didn't see this addressed in the historic spare ball thread.)

    Thoughts?

Biggest issue would be the difference in fits and the related release issues. If your going to use a spare ball your best bet is to have the fit be the same fit as your strike ball
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation
