Default This might seem like a dumb question, but

Does anybody have any bowling shoes that don't look goofy with shorts? I just bought some Dexter shoes, but they are bulky and black. Fine with pants, but look like combat boots with shorts. It's starting to warm up here and I can't wear pants much longer! Suggestions?

Etonic makes some bowling shoes that look like white tennis shoes, perhaps that's the ticket?

Just curious what shoes you have. I can understand how you feel if it's any of the higher quality ones.

I have a pair of etonic shoes, they are grey and white, they don't look bad with shorts, but I usually bowl in jeans

I have the Dexter Digital Camo ones... the thing about them is they are just big and heavy. They feel clunky and wide. I'm a pretty big guy (6'1 260) and don't have narrow feet, but these just seem like overkill.

    Default For warmer weather...

Might look at carpenter-type jeans. They're lighter weight than regular jeans and allow plenty of movement.

I've seen leather sandals converted to bowling shoes. It looked like they bought a replacement sole and heel from Dexter and super-glued them to the bottom of the sandals.
