i had the same problem, it doesnt help now being summer, with the humidty back in the air your thumb is naturly larger and bowling makes it bigger. So my soultion to this problem was having switch grips installed in my ball. They are basicly thumb holes that lock into the ball, i have 3, small, normal, large and it solved all my problems talk to your proshop guy and see if he does them also good when bowling alot of games.

for example you start bowling with the normal thumb and after a few shots / a game swtich to the large one and your good to go.

and for your 2 fingers in the ball if you have finger tips which im guessing you do your fingers should only be in to your first knucle. if you dont have finger tips talk to your proshop owner about them, they can increase your rev and improve games but they take some getting used to hope this helps

My thumb also "shrinks" after some time bowling.

You can have your thumb hole made larger and as your thumb shrinks, add tape to the thumb hole. If you use tape specifically designed for bowling, it will leave less sticky residue behind. That way, the next time you bowl, you can remove the tape at the start and add tape as you go along.

    Norm Duke often does this.

Alternately, you can add tape to your thumb as you go along.

There's also a solution using thumb pitch, but that is not a solution I would recommend in general.
