Thread: Storm Natural or Brunswick avalanche?

Default Storm Natural or Brunswick avalanche?

i'm currently looking for a really tame ball to work with my current approach issues i don't slide and have a slower ball speed 13-14mph(qubica) but i also put alot of revs in the ball so i was looking at these urethane balls. would this be the right selection for me? issue i will have sometimes is cause i throw so slow when the lanes break down and the ball starts hook too much. just wanted to know everyones opinion on the natural and the avalanche as well i'm not sure where to start thanks.

I would suggest maybe looking at an Ebonite Tornado, great ball and very versatile. The Tornado should work great for slower ball speeds, might want to check with your pro shop and see they think.
    Good luck and good bowling

Based on the approach you're describing, and if you're leaning toward a Storm product, I'd go with a less aggressive resin ball like the Storm Fast before I went with the Natural. Unless you're throwing inside 15 or on wood, you probably wouldn't want the urethane coverstock.
