Yes it's happened, but I've also had good advice float my direction from random people that has improved my game. It's all about having a good filter system
i know this is a stupid question because its happened to everyone. ever been bowling minding your own business and some old drunk from the bar comes up to you and tries to give you advice about your game. and when in reality they have no idea what the hell they're talking about. god i hate that

Yee
LOL, it's happened many times, especially when I'm working on the corner pins for a couple of games.
Happen to me, just kinda ignored them and nodded politely, and went on my way. Later to find out it was Norm Duke.
Scott, take the advice with a grain of salt. Don't get worked up over it, take it as a compliment that someone thought enough about you and your game to come offer their opinion about it. Also, I noticed that you are 235 on THS, and around 187 on PBAX, so if you were practicing on a PBAX pattern, the advice he was giving may be of some use to you in the future on those type of patterns. Just my .02

Actually, it is generally entertaining when it happens. At the same time, you never know when you might find a golden nugget of advice that actually helps. We all have different realms of knowledge.
