Are you saying that the same exact ball goes farther down the lane before reacting with the pin below your fingers than when it is above your fingers? That is how it sounds, but that should be backwards.
I recently drilled 2 Storm 2Fasts. The first one has the pin above my bridge, small shift with no hole which winds up being about a 5 inch pin for me. This ball is very clean through the front of the lane and very strong and continuous in the mid lane. This is the ball I plan to use when the lane is starting to force me in. The second one is also a 5 inch pin but is under my middle finger. It also has a small shift with no hole. This 2Fast gets down the lane even easier then the other one. It goes much longer and is much more angular in the back end. I plan to use this ball a lot left of the 4th arrow. Very good ball, I expect it to be a big hit especially in a league setting.
