    Default release problem

So I am having a problem with my release. I am a high track player and usually the oil tracks just to the left of the finger holes and thumbhole (right handed). So the problem...I am tracking oil over and onto my thumbhole. How does one correct this problem? Or is this something I shouldn't worry about?

It's hard to tell you what you're doing wrong without seeing you throw a ball. But, Here's a few things you can try. Try getting your thumb out of the ball earlier. This will make you use your fingers more to spin the ball. Or, You can try to come out the side of the ball, not behind it. You can do this by starting with your thumb at the 3:00 position. Your hand stay in that position through your approach until the ball reach your heel. Then turn your thumb to 12:00. This will put more side rotation on the ball. Focus on the plam of your hand. Turn the ball with the plam of your hand. less with your fingers. It will also make the ball react a little earlyer. Try these two things, I hope one of these things work for you. Let me know how you made out. Good Luck, Talk to you soon.
