    Smile First 700 series

Bowled Sunday night league with a bad back and glad I did. With the back hurting, it kept me from over powering the ball, and slowed it down. Bowled 245, 214, & 252 for a 711 series. Those 3 games seemed like the easiest games I ever bowled, I didn't move but 3 boards all night. I bowled the first game with the SR-2 and changed to the Mars in the 4th frame of the 2nd game 'cause it was hooking to hard. Finished the series with the Mars and all I can say is wow, what a rush.
    Good luck and good bowling

Congratulations. I remember my first. I hope there are many more to come. I also understand about the bad back. I had to go 14lb balls. Keep it up. Just like mine, this shows you that you can do it again. Proud of you.

Reminds me of a fellow who used to bowl in my league. It seemed like once or twice every season he would show up to bowl complaining that his back hurt, he couldn't move, etc... He would the proceed to bowl three games that were all at least ten, if not thirty or forty pins over his average. Fortunately for the other teams in the league he never figured out how to throw the ball the same way when he wasn't hurting. With luck, maybe you can.

Thanks guys, and my team has already told my wife to keep me injured. But in all honesty if it wasn't for the back I probably would not have done as well. Having a bad back forced me to slow it down and let the ball do the work, just like the coach always tells me to. The funny thing is that Friday and Saturday when I was bowling with friends, that was exactly what I was working on, slowing it down. I'll have to try this again in Thursday night league now, just hope I don't forget the lesson I learned.
    Good luck and good bowling
