Bowling Shoe Heel
Not quite sure if this is the right place for this question. Anyway after sitting out for 10 years I am back bowling again this year. I bought a new pair of shoes as my old ones were shot. I've found that the shoes have a rubber heel on my left (sliding) foot. I didn't really pay attention to it when I bought them. My old shoes allowed me to get some slide with the heel, while these stop me dead. I have always kind of shuffled my way up to the line. This isn't possibe with these.
My question is: Is there anything that I can cover the rubber heel with that will give me a little slide (but still bring me to a stop) and not bring me to a dead stop? I thought I was going to blow out my knee tonight on a shot! I'm aching from my knee to my hip!!

Never mind, I found the answer elsewhere on the board.
