so I think I've decided to actually go with hammer I am looking at the black widow nasty the plague and the axe are these balls any good the axe would be my spare ball

Hammer is all I throw. Start the night with the Plague if a heavier pattern has been laid down. It carries long and has great movement to the pocket. If I need one to start hooking a little earlier, I will move to my Sting. Drilled pin under for a more smoother movement to the pocket. When the lanes are really breaking down quick, I will move to my original Black widow. All of these balls are drilled differently so I do not get the same movement with them.

Talk to your centers pro-shop about what you want the balls to do. You want each one to have a different movement depending on the lane conditions. Good luck to you on the lanes.
