 eye dominance...

For those here whom shot a bow, as well as bowl. I'm wondering if eye dominance seems to play a part in your accuracy. I'm very right handed and left eye dominant. But as far as hitting my mark I find I tend to miss it by a board most of the time. So I tend to try and just stay close to second arrow.
I'm wondering if my eye dominance plays a big part in it ?
Do you think like in archery I might try wearing a patch to cut out 1 eye would improve my aim ?

I'm like that as well. Right handed but left eye dominant. I think what is happening now for me is that I got used to it.
But I had similar issues of missing boards. What I did was to actually have my arm pointing further right (almost to the 1st arrow) while I targeted at the 2nd during the stance. This probably allows me to tell my brain that I'm pushing the ball outwards alittle more.

I find that I do the same thing. But that if I move and find my mark I'm consistent enough to hit my mark every time. Whether it's a board right of where I "Think" I'm throwing it, it's still a solid strike
