    Default Here we go again...

League has started and the pins are falling along with the money falling out of the parents wallets...lol.

New shirts, new equipment, new USBC cards it all adds up. Bowling is a more expensive sport than most people realize.

If you or your child is a tournament bowler you are at paying out at least "TRIPLE" the costs of a house or league bowler.

In the Pacific Northwest our youths bowl at least 3 tournaments per month one house league and one PBA Expierence league as well. About $150.00 per month in just entry fee's.

Then you of course add the price of gas, food and lodging (every other Month) and you can't forget the fee's just to practise our beloved sport and it can be real spendy.

But worth every cent if it means your child is safe and becoming a better person by just being around youths with similar goals and parents who stay invoved in their childrens lives.

Our daughters coach expects good grades and good sportsmanship at all times and isn't afraid to remind our bowlers that they are examples to younger bowlers.

Bowling is a wonderful sport and is helping teach life skills to future generations. But mostly it allows us parents to make these incredible memories with our children.

Now that is money well spent...
