Hello from NC!

Hello, my name is John. I am a freshman at the University of North Carolina - Asheville and I am also a beginning bowler. I have always enjoyed bowling in the past but have just recently developed a further interest in the game. My hometown is Winston-Salem, NC, for the summers and breaks and I bowl probably 3 nights a week because my local lanes (Creekside) have an all you can bowl (2 hours) for 5 bucks those nights. I have invested in a pair of shoes and a custom drilled 14 pound Ebonite Tornado and I am starting to throw a weak hook. I just wanted to introduce myself and maybe find some bowlers from the area.

Say hello to everyone at Creekside from my wife and I. We go there every summer for the Gathering. Graille, from W/S is a local to you, and he's a great guy. There are quite a few others. I have heard of Ron Clifton and seen his website but have not met him in person. It would be difficult for me to take lessons right now and get anything out of it because im in college in Asheville most of the time. However, this summer, I would most likely be interested in taking some lessons. I love creekside, the people are always so nice. I added you on facebook as well.

Well, keep the last part of July open, I'm not certain of the dates yet, but we'll be at Creekside for the Gathering. Today is the birthday of the woman who got us going there and returning every year. Sadly, she passed suddenly. And send Jason Harris a message and tell him you know me. He bowls at Creekside, too. Nice guy, good dry sense of humor.
