 thumb problem

I have been having this swelling of the thumb problem for some time now. it's on my front knukle and i am getting a calous on the inside of my thumb. when i am releasing the ball everything seems to be fine. it feels as though the ball is coming off of my hand with no problem but it (thumb) must not be coming out first or if it is,it must be about the same time as the fingers are lifting. i break ( roll) my wrist down on my 2nd step(5 step approach) and then have a long and lifting follow through if that can give you an idea on my bowling style and also toward the middle of the 3 game series , i have a big problem getting my thumb in the ball. to make a long story short....what could cause the calous on the inside of my thumb and swelling if i am releasing the ball (with no hang ups)? are there any slow motion videos out there that show a close up of the thumb coming out of a ball upon release ?? help needed and it's getting to the point that I might have to go to a two handed bowling release (which i wrote against the other day). now wouldn't that be a change of standered !?

You live in Fl, could it be the humidity and is your hand relaxed. If all else fails go to the Kegal training center(in Fl) for a check of your fit.

thanks for the reply. i recently had a slo mo of my release and it's releasing properly. it's boiling down to either like you said "the humidity" or a grip problem. the thumb fells tight enough as to where i don't have to grip the ball and that could be a problem also because i'm always putting tape in and taking it out through out a match. my thumb seems to be getting better now and maybe it could be the cooler weather coming in now.
