Thread: getting a sore finger from bowling.

Default getting a sore finger from bowling.

I have had this issue even before joining a league and doing casual bowling once or twice a year. It seems that as I bowl the base of my middle finger is extremly sore, almost like a bruised bone and each week it seems to get a little worse. It has been 2 days since bowling and the finger is still sore for instance when having to clamp my hand around any object.

Anyone know how I am damaging it from the ball?

I should mention that the last 2 weeks I borrowed a 16 lb ball from a friend as I had forgotten mine.

Sounds like you have a span or pitch problem. Get thee to a pro shop and tell them about it. Bowling shouldn't hurt. Except, if you bowl extremely poorly your pride may hurt a bit.
