Congratulations on your new found success.
I used to be a "broke arm" heave the ball bowler. Averaging about 150. I just changed to a what I call a twanker release and I'm averaging 180 over 7 games (practice...3 games one day 4 the other). Lining up around the 30th board and having my no mercy roll over the 15th board and breaking around the 5th, lining up around the 35th board and having my no mercy roll between the 10/15th board and my break point is inbetween the 5th and 1st board. Ball speed averages around 17 mph with about up to 400 revs. I've slown down my spare release as well. Throwing a straight ball + my rev rate + a slower ball speed = much straighter and more spares. Over 4 games last night I had 21 strikes and 8 open frames using my new release everything else was spares. Rolled two 200+ games with a high game of 213. Average 187 last night as well. Can't wait to see how I do tomorrow during youth league. One thing I need to remember to do is not get so frustrated when my team and/or myself is doing poorly.

Youth was a disaster. I kept getting distracted due to little yappy kids.
