Very impressed with the latest release from MOTIV!!

This bowling ball features the proven performance of the "Thrust" core with the new Vicious reactive pearl coverstock.

I did a very simple 4 1/2" from pap stack with no extra hole. For those of you who like to use the dual angle method, approximately a 70-4 1/2"-60.

This ball showed "Thrust" core characteristics wanting to rev up very easily off the hand, and read the mid-lane very predictably. What really sets the Primal apart from others prior to it, is the downlane motion that the new cover creates. The more angular and more continuous backend motion of the Primal makes it a fantastic weapon against carrydown, or when you want to open the lane up a little bit on late tournament squads or second shift leagues.

Overall, the Primal is about 3 or 4 boards weaker than the TR2, but the downlane motion and the fact that it's very eye-catching make this ball VERY appealing!

Personally, this is my favorite MOTIV bowling ball so far, and I can't wait to see what's next!
