It's true.
I got a Marvel today from Ralph's Pro Shop in Greensboro.
I have it drilled with the pin over the ring finger.
I haven't been able to throw it yet but I will in a few hours.
I will post more about the ball later tonight.
I've been told our friend theluigi has chosen one of these as his new implement of destruction. I ran across a video for it on youtube from bowlingball.com. It shows 3 different bowlers using it, one of which is our own John Congdon. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ycF8FK7jdE

Well I've only got to throw about 6 games with the Marvel but I can say for sure that this thing is a tank.
When I throw it right, it hits the pins with amazing force.
I am not a very high rev player, so I find myself throwing this ball from the middle of the lane over the second arrow and back.
I am still trying to learn how the ball wants to be thrown.
This is a learning experience for me as I have only been bowling since December and am trying to understand all the ins and outs of bowling.
Bowling since December 2010.
Currently Throwing : Storm Marvel 14# and Ebonite Tornado 14#
The Storm site says its fragrance is "aromatherapy." That could mean almost anything. What do you think it smells like?
Yeah the box said "Aromatherapy - Performance."
In my opinion, to be honest, I don't know what I would call the scent. But I do know it smells good.
Edit: My girfriend thinks it smells like boysenberry. Women...
