my greatest accomplishment? there's 2 that comes to mind actually.. a game without open frame (took me about 1 year before achieving that) and the other accomplishment being a 279 score
I used to be casually into bowling about 4 years ago and just suddenly stopped, average at the time was about 120. I just got back into bowling in July and have been going about 3 times/week since then. I bowled my highest game ever (at the time) in July on my first trip to the bowling alley in 4 years, and averaged about a 120 that day. Since then, my average has gone up to about 140. I got my first bowling ball in Saturday morning, had it drilled Saturday afternoon, and last night bowled my highest game ever: 189! Since July, I hadn't been able to hit 169, but in the last four weeks, I've beaten it 3 times.
I guess last night's 189 would be my greatest accomplishment, even though I had 2 open frames. In my previous high of 176, I picked up a 6,7 split and only left one frame open (10th).
Goals:
200 game
Bowl a game without leaving an open frame
Learn to throw a hook

Greatest accomplishment would have to be having finally rolled a clean game. My goal now is to keep trying to roll clean games so i will have my chance at a 600 and maybe get my average up to a 180
My biggest accomplishment so far happened last night. I bowled my personal best at 197. Goals would be to break the 200 mark, bowl a clean game, and eventually develop a hook.
My biggest accomplishment is representing Hong_Kong and bowl some international tournament although I only won some small awards, this is a big honor to me~~~ my biggest goal is teach the correct attitude to my students ~~however I am quitting bowling now....

Becoz I have no time for bowling, I am quite active in hk politic and social movement....
Accomplished one of my goals tonight (twice). Bowled a 206 and 200, consecutively!!!
I had one game (in my league game Friday night) where I had spares through all ten frames, but didn't get a strike on my last roll. Does that still qualify as having a clean game? I've heard debate either way. Had a 176 in that game.
Keep in mind, I've only been bowling for 4 months now.

Yes as the mayor said it was a clean game. Now if you had led with a strike in the tenth you would have had to either strike on the next ball or convert the leave to stay clean under the rules in the sport league that I bowl in. We actually get bonus points for clean games.
