    Default Cruel LE

The Cruel LE uses the same asymmetrical core as the original Cruel C51.What is
new is a new pearlized reactive Formula 5 coverstock.
The box finish is 2000 sanded and polished with MOTIV Power Gel Polish.
The color is red with black swirl and silver and white logos.
    RG. 15lbs. 2.48, RG Diff. 15lbs .060, MB 15lbs. .030, Flare-6"+,
    Lane conditions-Medium oil-oily.

    My information-
    Right-handed, Ball speed-16mph average,Rev Rate-280-300 rpm's,
    Axis Rotation-45 degrees,Axis Tilt-15 degrees
    PAP-5 1/4" over and 1 1/4 up

    Specs of ball tested
    15lbs 4oz. Top weight-3.4oz. Pin 3.3'
Ball surface-OOB 2000 sanded and polished with MOTIV Power Gel Polish
    Drilling-70x45@4 1/2" P1 hole,2" deep,with 1" bit

    Lanes Tested On
3year old Pro Anvilanes,8 year old Anvilanes,11 year old Anvilanes,
Patterns-41' THS, 40' oilier house shot,37' and 41' Blue pattern,
2011 USBC Queens pattern,2011 USBC Women's National pattern.

MOTIV is defining what it means to produce quality bowling balls.Products
that fill gaps rather than producing a ball that fits over a current product.
And the Cruel LE adds another diamond in the line-up of current MOTIV gems.
The Cruel LE has a new pearlized coverstock. The pearl cover increases
the ease through the heads. The midlane roll is very defined and quick.
The LE about 1 1/2'-2' more length than the original Cruel C51.The LE
response to the friction is quick and defined. This LE corners harder
than the Original Cruel C51,with a very strong arc at the breakpoint.
The backend recovery of the LE was very impressive.I could send
it wide without fear of it not recovering. And the continuation through
the pin deck helped with carry.
I have used the ball on a wide variety of patterns. It handled all of them, just
adjust the surface as needed and watch the LE shine. The only patterns
the Cruel it not intended for is dry.
The Cruel LE another winning ball in the MOTIV line. This ball fits
nicely between the Cruel C51 and the Primal TV4.

I'm looking at purchasing a Motiv ball, and was looking at the Cruel LE. If it in fact has only 1 1/2 -2 inches more length that the original Cruel, then it does not get through the heads very well for a pearlized cover.

Is that 1 1/2 - 2 inches a typo, or are the 2 balls that similar?

I'm pretty sure she meant feet. I can say from watching the ball, it gets down the lane much better than the original. It absolutely rips on the backend. This ball is sweet.

    Default Cruel Le Review

This is another great ball from MOTIV. I wanted to hold off on my review until I had the chance to use this ball on several different patterns. We use the USBC White pattern for our house shot, although it's 43 feet, it gives you really good bounce on the outside. I used this ball in a PBA Regional on the Chameleon Pattern also, and in a few local tournaments. This ball rolls well on everything I could throw it on, not just heavy oil, this ball is very versatile. The LE is cleaner through burnt up heads than the original Cruel with about 2-3 feet of added lenght, great 2 ball combination.

I used a 60x45@4 layout, this gave me a very smooth transition off the friction and really good roll and backend in the puddle. If you like your equipment to "buy" you a few strikes here and there, this is a must addition to your bag.

The only issue with this ball is it is a limited edition and may not be around much longer, so get one NOW.

We have drilled a few of theses for customers and they all say this ball is SMOOTH and hits like a tank, they have added other MOTIV equipment to there bags.

I have this ball and my average has increased 50 pins. I am in love with it but it has stopped being produced. If anybody is looking for this ball but cannot find it, take a look at the Raptor P7. Although the coverstock is different, it has a very similar reaction. The flare potential is exactly the same and the other specs are very similar. If you need to see for yourself, check out the Cruel LE thrown by Justin WI and the Raptor P7 thrown by Justin WI. They are both impressive! 10/10. Motiv is an amazing new brand and my new favorite.
