as a former smoker I would not have minded stepping outside since I really got into the habit of doing that anyway. I would even step outside to smoke if I was at a smokers house. Yes I do miss it at times and miss being able to casually light up at the alley, of course at the time when it was still legal to smoke in the alley I was underage anyway and maybe thought I was kind of cool fitting in with the older guys. now I realize that was a stupid idea. yes it is good to not contribute to a non smokers bad health.

I don't smoke but if the alley permitted smoking inside, I'd probably stop bowling. Just not a big fan of smokes, especially cigarettes. I can only tolerate rolled tobacco.

The big issue is the time it takes. If there was a league mandate that you are allowed after the 2nd or 1st game (just once) it would be fine with me. I really just want to go once and not have to rush.

Some teams bail after every game even if the other teams dont have a single smoker.

I don't smoke, but the smell of bowling alleys has always been really nostalgaic to me. The smoke was part of that. It doesn't ruin anything, but I was sad the first time I went into a bowling alley after the ban.

I'm Mr. Bad example for smoking. If you can stop, do so now. I smoked for about 28 years and did loads of damage to myself. I've had to have aneurisms stented, my aortic root and valve replaced, and I've lost 70% of the capacity in my right lung. That's the larger one. My enlarged heart impinges on my left lung. Don't wait until they tell you you have a choice: you can continue to smoke or you can continue to live. Qutting is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it can be done.

Never smoked - can't smoke (allergic to tobacco), but my local house used to have those benches that had the ash tray built in, and I can't tell you how many times I've stuck my hand in ashes, and dead butts. It was disgusting.

Sorry to the smokers, but... I'm glad.
