    Interesting question. If I could pick a dead person I would say James Belushi or Gilda Radner. Living person's would be Johnny Lang or Ozzy.

    Hmmm...for dead guy I'll agree with madapples for similar (on the surface at least) reasons

    Living is a tougher choice. I like the Hawkins answer but these days a conversation with the guy would take a week. So errrr...maybe Bill Gates being the geek that I am. Failing that the Dali Lama.

    For me, it would be Steve Harris or Billy Sheehan. Bass is my fave instrument and did take lessons for a little but but had to stop due to money issues.

    2nd choise would be a toss up between Weird Al and Marilyn Manson.
