Throwing your elbow
I tend to have a problem with throwing my elbow out causing my arm to get behind my body and to tug my shot inside or leave it to the outside. I know that I do it, but I don't really know a way to correct it other than keeping it in the forefront of my mind which leads to other issues that come with over thinking. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Practice with a towel under your arm as you bowl. Make sure the towel stays there throughout the entire approach. This will teach you to keep your arm tucked in to your body and hopefully will resolve your issues.

If you're having trouble keeping your elbow tucked in and/or if it keeps kicking out at the top of the swing, try incorporating a "crossover" step into your footwork.
Heres a video that can explain it alot better than I can.

Thanks a lot guys. I haven't heard either of these tips before and I'll be sure to give them both a try sometime before I start my league this coming Monday. The crossover step is really interesting to me as I used to have a problem with drifting on my approach and ending up about 15 boards further right than I started, but I'll be sure to give them both a try.
