    Is it recommended to use the same grip (conventional, fingertip, etc.) for your spare ball as your regular ball?

    Yes. The given theory is comfort but I don't know too many people that are comfortable with conventional after going fingertip.

    currently using a columbia 300 WD as spare ball.. using a fingertip grip.. 14lb ball.. 1lb lesser thn my ball.. although im using a 14lb ball now.. gonna upgrade to a 15lb ball in awhile.. so yupp!
