can someone suggest techniques or drills that might correct this problem?.. just got back from playing in my league, and my series was nothing but shameful.
seems like the ball is not too heavy.. then must be the problem of opening up the shoulder too much.. especially since u're not a cranker..

I'm particularly concerned with my backswing.. I've been working on that for quite some time now, still it ends up looking like that.

    Video quality sucks..sorry about that.
I've watched the vid several times and would like a side on view to get a better idea - however, it appears you are trying to develope your power from a big backswing as you seem to have a short downward pushaway. This action of strongarming the ball back tends to naturally swing you around and then you compensate for that by trying to square your body up again hence the behind the body swing.
Try pushing the ball out further and higher in your pushaway. You may have to practice this a bit as it may give you some timing issues if you have grown accustomed to your current style.

My apologies kilopoper - just noticed a side view video clip under the behind view - it was hidden just off the bottom of the page!
I watched the video several times and couldn't see too much wrong with your form - it isn't bad per se.
I might suggest that while the stance you used in the video is quite acceptable, why not try something else if it isn't working for you?
I think I might have already said this in another post, but will repeat for you here - hold the ball up higher and close to your body and push out and away slightly higher than 45 degrees - enough to give you a good pendulum swing. You will have to experiment with this.
Try not to muscle the ball forward, but let it swing by itself - this should get rid of the bent elbow.
Your body language shows you are not enjoying the game at the moment - don't be discouraged, we all go through form slumps and remember to have fun.
    Dave.

A couple of suggestions from are, before you start your approach, get that right shoulder up, the lower down it is the easier it is to swing round your back, and as entioned in a nearlier post, your push away starts low and away from your body, this wont help with a free pendulum swing which will also stop the ar swinging round..
