    Default The new Bowler's Journal

My new bowler's journal arrived today, and it has something in it I was looking forward to. I took exception to Jim Dressel's column last month and wrote the editor. They edited it a bit, but the general gist is the same, and it's on page 8 in the highlighted column on the right. LOL!

Has anyone noticed that the USBowler which is published by the same people as the Bowlers Journal is now available online at bowlingball.com. Very cool. Also has all the old archived issues. Click the USBowler in the blue header on the far right.

I've also noticed I don't get hard copy of it any longer, which I think is a rip off.

I think the USBC spent all of OUR money moving the USBC headquarters to Arlington.

The good news is that they sold the old complex in WI to Walmart. I'm sure they'll pass the windfall on to the members. Yeah, right.

Correct. After losing a few bucks paying taxes they did take a bit of a hit selling it to Wal-Mart. All USBC members will be getting 1/2 on their dues next year. Only problem is that they are doubling the dues. Just kidding of course.

We're not missing much by not getting it. It's nothing but ads anymore. I use to like the coaches corner, the gold, silver and bronse level tips and info that spanned a couple of pages. But now one tip maybe on one page.
