    Default Roto Grip Rising Star

Looking to expand my arsenal. Currently I have a Storm Tropical Heat (Orange/Purple). I'm looking for a little stronger ball in lighter oil conditions.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Roto Grip Rising Star? Likes, dislikes. Comparable balls from other manufacturers.

I really like my Rising Star. The hybrid coverstock reads the midlane just enough, and isn't too strong of a reaction. I drilled mine with a leverage layout, with a very short pin buffer. It is the ball I go to when my house shot dries out. Very predictable reaction, and carries very well for not making a very sharp move on the lanes. I definately recommend it for light oil, or late in a block.

Ebonite Vital Sign for light oil, The Recent Motiv Balls are pretty agressive as well.
