My Wife and I were given a set of the first 4 books in the George R.R. Martin series that "Game of Thrones" is based on. I also received the Norm Duke DVD.

As for other presents...I had Skyrim as an early one and Batman for on the day for the Xbox. My daughter got me 5 bowling towels and a shoe brush (now I just need the new shoes). The rest consisted of a sealable slow cooker (I cook a lot and often need to take the finished item somewhere) and a handful of gift vouchers.

So...nothing too exciting but then at my age a pair of socks is a bonus and anything over that is great
