Thread: New ball recommendation

    Default New ball recommendation

I am kind of a rookie to bowling ball knowledge, but I am a fairly decent bowler (196 avg)

Right now, I am not quite sure what ball I have as it was given to me. It is some sort of Storm Pearl, not sure what specific one. I think it is for medium lane conditions. It has a nice pop to it.

I don't bowl with an extreme hook. I am right handed and start around board 10-15 and usually hit the second arrow. When lanes are wet, I tend to not be able to get my ball to hook enough and I am not able to adjust to hit the pocket. I am looking for a ball that works better in wet conditions so I don't struggle until the lanes dry up. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Without knowing your stats, it would be hard to recommend something. If you go to some of the bowling sites like Storm, Roto Grip, and a couple of others have a matchmaker where you answer a few questions and they'll give you a general recommendation.
    Style: Power Stroker/Tweener - 16.5 - 17.5 mph, PAP 4 1/2 x 0

    In the bags:
    Retooled with 15 lb equipment.

In the Bag: Radical Ludicrous, 900Global Honey Badger Claw, 900Global Honey Badger, DV8 spareball

In the Bullpen : Radical Quick Fix, Radical Katana

The archives: Ebonite Grey Wolf (first 300), Red Wolf (first 700). Just can't let them go.

If you want a ball for heavy oil, I would recommend the gravity nano pearl or the C-System Ultimax.
