A sad day indeed for the bowling community so RIP Don you will be sorely missed.
R.I.P. Mr. Carter. You will be greatly missed. My condolences to the Carter family. Today we have lost one of the greatest to ever throw a ball down a lane. If you hear louder thunder from now on, you know it's because Don is up there rolling some big games.

Bill
RIP
I was just watching some highlights of his yesterday. Such a strange back swing and release. Amazing bowler.
Agreed - with a bent elbow like that through the swing, it's a testament to his skill that he was able to repeat shots. By most accounts, he was a pretty cool guy off the lanes with the fans, a real ambassador of the game. The Miller Lite commercials way back when were sweet

Here's to hoping he's throwing back some Lite's at the perfect lanes right now.

I was also watching some of his highights, and comericals, what a great bowler and Ambassador of the sport. RIP
