DFW Scratch Tournament
This will be my first sanctioned tournament and wanted some input from folks on what I should do to prepare. I've bowled some color pin sweepers and played brackets before, but always handicap scores. I've never bowled scratch anything besides my league where I average 180-190. I'm throwing a Brunswick SMASH ZONE along with a Hammer Taboo, but the taboo is bran new, and I don't know if I'll have the time to "figure it out" before the tournament. Maybe I'm just nervous. *JITTERS* The mental game is eating at me. What to do? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Bowling Guru
The best but certainly not the easiest thing to do is to focus on making one good shot at a time. Try not to think about your score or how anyone else is doing. The exception would be to see if any of the other bowlers on your pair have a better line to the pocket. Try not to get too excited if you get a string going, or upset if you get tapped.
RELAX!
HAVE FUN!
