New bowling ball help.

[I suck at bowling]

I am a owner of the Lane#1 Big curve, and a Raw Hammer Burn. I am thinking about buying a ball that will give me a lot more snap at the back-end.

The Big Curve has more of a gradual hook, and I need something more potent.

What ball would you guys suggest?

You could try a ball with a pearl coverstock like the Storm Marvel Pearl. You can drill it pin-up to go down long and snap hard at the end.

I think the best skid flip ball currently out there would be the Storm Frantic. Get a 4-5 inch pin and drill it pin over your middle finger and you've got some massive skid flip. Not to mention its also priced as a mid-performance ball, but hooks about as much as a higher end ball.

The Marvel Pearl and Frantic are both good choices. However where the pin is placed and the reaction it gives you is determined by your PAP. Drano, if you and I both drill the Frantic with the pin about our middle finger, it will react differently for both of us. This is because we don't throw the ball the same.

The Raw Hammer Burn that you own is a pearl ball and pretty angular. Has it lost reaction?
