maybe work on keeping your arm straighter throughout the armswing. this might help your release point as the ball seems to be hitting the floor pretty hard.

First just what do you mean by "three fingers". do you mean two fingers and your thumb?
Right off your off balance some, watch how you fall to the right, just after you release the ball.

Also you should show you making more than one shot in your video, so people can get a better idea of your form.

Ok thanks. Ya, I mean 2 fingers and a thumb. I took a longer video, but I don't think I'll have time to edit it before I head off to work, but I'll post it when I can.

Thanks 10-in-the-pin for your advice, I'll work on it next time I go bowling.

Hi Papers, I thought I would comment as I have been watching two finger bowlers for several months and I believe I see what your problem is - you have a bent elbow.
This is a legacy of your previous two finger style and will take some discipline and persistence to correct.
I would suggest experimenting with your pushaway to create a good straight arm and trying not to "push" the ball back from the backswing. Getting used to the pendulum swing again will take a little practice.
Try a higher pushaway making sure you get that arm straight - this will tell your mind that you have enough speed and don't need to "push" the ball.

ok the problem that you are having is manly your swing get your arm more streght and you will have a much smoother throw and also with getting your arm lower to the ground soo it dose not hit the lane as hard will conserve more of the ball energy cause if you drop it like you do the ball bounces and looses energy going down the lane which then it wont beable to move it as much as it should which meaning u will hit the pins light or miss the head pin all together to the right

and try bending or getting down lower to the ground. that will help a bunch.

I'll see if I can break my habbit of bending my elbow, I've been bowling like that for 7 years so it might be difficult. Also, would it be better if I did the fingertip bowling style? I normally go down to my second knuckle. Here's a few more shots of my form:

If I had to add to the arm straightening I would suggest your follow thru. Try and keep your arm to the right side of your head after releasing the ball.

I would suggest going fingertip. I've actually never seen anyone bowl 2 fingers and go to the second knuckle. You will probably need to adjust the way you hold the ball throughout your delivery to cup it more. You will probably need to slow down your approach (and still get down lower).
