Great news i sanded my ball for 2 dollars at the pro shop and bowled a 600 series thanks to everyone for the help!
I resurface all the balls on my team. Most times the procedure can be found either on the manufacturer's website or by e-mailing them. They say use a ball spinner but I do ours by hand. An example is the Roto-Grip Mutant Cell (original) all wet sand; 500 grit, grey scotch brite pad, 1500 grit abralon pad, one coat of polish

clean'n'dull is great for all ball surfaces. The ball will feel really tacky after using it. I like to use a lighter colored mircofiber towel so I can see how dirty the ball is. If there is a lots of grime on the towel I tend to go longer cleaning the ball.
