You could probably just give it a quick clean again and head out to the lanes. If any of your balls are in bad shape, you could get a resurface or something at the pro shop.
I haven't bowled regularly in many years, and I want to clean off my equipment in preparation for getting back into leagues. I'm bowling with an Imperial Quantum, a Jade Quantum, a Scarlet Quantum, and Piranha/C. Can anyone recommend a very good cleaner for those type of coverstocks? Before I stored my equipment, I cleaned them, but I'm sure there is still old oil in there, and of course they will need weekly maintenance.

Storm and Brunswick both make excellent ball cleaners.

Most of the cleaners on the market today say they are good for all coverstocks. If you're still unsure, I'm sure the pro shop would be happy to recommend a product that fits your needs.

theres lots of cleaners out there but i would go with power house or storm cause theres a ball cleaner sfor both dull and polished balls but it makes a difference in the balls movement,
soo if you got a dull ball use a dull ball cleaner.
and if you got a polished ball sued a polish ball cleaner.
not sure of the names but power house has got lots of them jsut talk to your proshop guy about it.

There many cleaners out there and they will work on those coverstocks just like the others.
For your daily cleaning some good one's are-
Hook-it, Tac-Up, Reacta Clean
Some that are ok but not as good as those above-
Powerhouse Energizer Cleaner, Power Wash
You can also use-
Rubbing alcohol, A 50/50 mix of Simple Green and Alcohol
A product called Clean'N Dull is a great penetrating cleaner that helps pull some oil out of the cover. Not for everyday use though.
For de-oiling you can do the "Hot water & Dawn" method, this is where you put the ball in a bucket of hot water and soap and the oil leaches out.
or
Go to the pro shop and let then put it their ball oven if they have one.

There's not really any cleaners that are just for Dull balls or Polished balls.
There are cleaners though, that have abrasives in them and they can change the surface texture of your ball. Usually these are called cleaner/polishes, you should treat these as polishes, not cleaners and are more suited to polished balls.
Example:
Storm Reacta Clean is just a cleaner, you can use it on dull or polished balls.
on the other hand there's
Storm Reacta Shine this is a cleaner/polish, it's a ball cleaner with a polishing agent added.
At one time cleaner/polishes were considered for sanded balls (this was when sanded meant 220,360, 400 etc.), it was suppose to get down into the sanding lines and clean them out. The only trouble was after you cleaned it a few times the ball started to shine up and you had to resand.

yeah bowl ik that but they got a cleaner out there for dull balls, cause dull balls with get abit of shine on them when they wear out abit from being used soo much and also they sead its from the cleaners too, soo they made a cleaner jsut for dull balls soo ou cna get a few more games in there befor the shine gets on the ball my buddy has one and it says on it cleaner for dull balls( but in different word not sure of the igseact words).
reason why did this cause alot of bowlers with dull balls where having to take them to the pro shops soo much to get them back to nor,al after the shine got on it but this cleaner takes all dirt off your ball and will keep it at this dull finish dose not do nothing to the cover, well i dont care about it cause i work at the proshop know soo i can my ball all done for free

I'm going to take a guess the product your referring to is Storm Reacta Skuff.yeah bowl ik that but they got a cleaner out there for dull balls, cause dull balls with get abit of shine on them when they wear out abit from being used soo much and also they sead its from the cleaners too, soo they made a cleaner jsut for dull balls soo ou cna get a few more games in there befor the shine gets on the ball my buddy has one and it says on it cleaner for dull balls( but in different word not sure of the igseact words).
Which is a pretty new product that just came out. So there's not much info on it and how it performs. But nothing I've found says it just for a dull ball.
It's only approved for use before and after competition. Which would be to it having a abrasive or other additive that alters the coverstock in some form. So it wouldn't really be a good daily cleaner and at $17 for a 8oz. bottle it's not going to be flying off the shelf.
This stuff sounds pretty much like Motiv's Power Gel Scuff which is doing a similar thing. But at a cheaper price $19 for 16oz.
Now if you can come up with a product name and I can see something that say's "only for dull balls"
Yes a dull ball can get shiny when it gets dirt, oil and grime on it. But any good cleaner will remove that and have the ball back to the dull surface underneath without doing anything to the cover.reason why did this cause alot of bowlers with dull balls where having to take them to the pro shops soo much to get them back to nor,al after the shine got on it but this cleaner takes all dirt off your ball and will keep it at this dull finish dose not do nothing to the cover, well i don't care about it cause i work at the proshop know soo i can my ball all done for free
Also if you have a"dull" ball (Though I haven't seen a honest to goodness dull ball in years) they will shine up as the surface smooths from lane wear. Thats why they would have to have the pro shop redo the surface, now there are products that you can use to dull a ball (like liquid sandpaper) but it's not just for dull balls.
Like I said if you can come up with a product name and I can see what it say's like "only for dull balls"
You are working at pro shop?

yeah i will try to get ahold of him hes jsut out of town on vaction for the last bit of march but i will try to find the name and try to remember it the best i can but it says on it for dull balls soo it might be the one your saying but idk he has had it for like 3 or 4 months now and the one that he has its like taking your ball and getting it resurced it like puts the hook back in the ball for a game or 2 but by the time its all off the ball the line is msotly dryed up soo you wont see a differnce.
yeah im working at the pro shop once and awhile just right know learning everything only started yesterday ihave already sold 3 balls but 1 i prices $40 too high my bad i was looking at the wrong ball on are list but we figured out what i did wrong and got the money back to the guy
