Default need help on finding new ball

Hi, I am new to this forum and I need some help finding a new ball. Right now I'm throwing a 14 pound twisted fury pin up over my ring finger. I've noticed after playing with some other people that I have a higher speed and lower rev rate. I can't get the twisted fury to hook all that much and I often leave the 10 pin where I should hit strikes. I'm currently looking to add another ball to my arsenal but I don't know what to get. I want something that is going to hook easier for a lower rev player. Any ideas are appreciated.

    Thanks

Being high speed and low revs, you will want a ball that starts up sooner. Something with a low RG. Also, I would recommend moving up in weight. It should help bring your speed back down a bit so your speed and revs can come closer to matching.

Do you have a brand preference? Just curious, what are you considering as higher speed? What kind of lane conditions?

I dont really have a brand preference. Typical house lane conditions and last time I was at a lane that actually had speed trackers, I was averaging like 17-19 mph. I agree that I need to move up in weight to slow down and also add some more punch but there is so many choices out there that if I could narrow it down a bit that might help.

Storm Frantic, DV8 Reckless are a couple of good balls. Have you searched on bowlingball.com?

Yes, I am on bowlingball.com almost every day, I just don't know enough about other balls than the one I have because I haven't thrown anything else so I was looking for some input from some more knowledgable people than myself.

I've heard nothing but great things about the storm frantic and crossroad. The crossroad is a little more aggressive I believe. Too reckless/reckless are supposed to be fantastic too.

I have a Reckless and my teammate a Too Reckless. We have the same span and interchangeable thumbs so we use whatever we want in each other's bags. I also have a Misfit and 2 Hellraiser Revenge. I would recommend making as many quality posts as possible this week, win the Hellraiser and see if you like it as much as I do. I get more than an average amount of revs so I can't use it during league but it's awesome on heavy oil. Since I bought mine several guys in my leagues have bought one. They are low rev, low speed strokers and absolutely love the reaction. Drilled correctly, I believe you would love the reaction from it with your higher speed.

That sounds very much like me, Bill. I'm really, really hoping I win this one I've watched the BB.com video a ton and it just looks insane. I think at heavier oil houses I'll be able to control it as my revs aren't overpowering. Also...the colors are so awesome.

Theres so many good balls out there. For a THS a hammer vibe works well, alot of people in the leagues around here throw them.
