    once the ball crosses the foul line and before the pins get picked up, it counts. I can't think there is a PBA rule against something like this. the only way there would be is if it happened before during a PBA event and was deemed unfair, then a rule was voted in for just such an occasion. but I doubt that

    Unless you can count a ball hitting the side board then hitting the ten then I have not converted. Rolled into the gutter at a steep angle just in front of the ten and the ball reacted like a pinball in the corner hitting the ten. Now a friend rolled the first ball and left the 7/10 but in this case the ten was tapped slightly and slid over to the 9 pin postion then on his second roll he was able to get the ten to take out the 7. I said it did not count as a 7/10 conversion he agreed but we still wonder if it was a true 7/10. It was still exciting to see though.
