Does the change in weather, cause your fingers to expand?

I have noticed that my fingers are more tighter in my bowling ball, since the weather has change. The ball doesn't slide off my hand as easily, as it did. Should I get new finger tips, for a better fit?

Yes you should. I have broken my thumb three times. With the changes in barometric pressure my thumb size changes. Interchangeable thumbs are a wonderful thing! Many times during the humid summer months I will have to change thumbs during a game.

Yea it does. In the summer I can barely get my wedding ring off, but in the winter it slides off easily. Same with bowling balls.....in the summer I have trouble with my thumb getting stuck, and sometimes in the winter (especially the first few warm-up throws) it feels like I'm sticking my thumb in a house ball.

Hey billf, which thumb product are you using? I've been thinking of using a thumb switch so I can have the same thumb hole in each ball, but I'm not sure if I'll like switching it back and forth between shots. Thanks

yea its also a problem for me...when ever it gets humid my fingers stick...I wonder if the weather affects the weight of the pins...I dont know it may be mental but it seems when it is humid and warm out the pins seem heavier lol

Vise IT (slug it). I have yet to experience a single problem with these unlike the older turbo switch grips that seemed to break very easily. I can swap thumbs in under ten seconds while wiping the ball off.

My driller will not install these in plastic balls. I don't know why. I trust him explicitly so I didn't ask when he told me this.

My fingers have never swollen to the point where they start sticking, but my thumb usually does. I just have my thumb drilled a tad big, and use tape for the right fit for an given event. If your fingers are sticking, probably need to go one size up for grips.
