I've only seen the old movie shorts of him but my vote is for Andy Varipapa. Its hard to compare him to the modern pros since he didn't compete on the PBA tour. The trick shots that he did are still amazing. He won major tournaments in his fifties. My personal favorite is the he was as good left-handed as he was right-handed.

Bowling left and right! I have a hard enough time just using my right hand!! It was sure different in the old days!! I have my Dad's old black rubber bowling ball. Thought it might be fun to try out if it dosen't hurt the alley!
