I see Walter Ray won another Senior Tour Title. I mean I realize he's an older dude, but don't you think he'd still be competitive on the regular tour?

He wasn't competitive last year, and didn't really do too much on the senior tour either. Arthritis has really slowed his career down. Amleto, Bob Learn and Lennie Boresch are going to do really well on the senior circuit this year. Walt is my all-time favorite bowler, but he's just not the same.

With him doing both tours, no it wasn't too early. Arthritis can be awful and really limit a bowler. I'm hoping he can find a medication that helps and be competitive again on both tours!

Considering that he just won a regional followed by a senior, maybe he has.

I also think that last year he did not match up well with Track products. They had a much different ball motion than the Global products he threw after he left MoRich. If you remember Mika's success dropped when he left Ebonite and went to Brunswick. He didn't match up well with their ball motion

That is sadly, very, true I unfortunately have osteoarthritis in both of my knees and it
has really limited me on what I can do in bowling now days. Back in the 80's and 90's
I could bowl any where from 20 - 40 games a day and never give it a thought never a
pain one but now I'm lucky if I make it threw 3 games. It is really to bad too since I'm
now the Pro shop Mgr. and get all of my practice games free it is a real shame that I'm
not able to take advantage of a good thing now days.

I get teased for bringing six balls to league for a house pattern by other teams. What they don't know is that although I'm only 43 I have had arthritis since I was 22 in my knees, fingers and hands. What ball I start with depends on how my hands and fingers feel that day. I have different pitches to try and limit the pain.
